Peat Johnson Murray Limited is a chartered accounting firm formed from the practices of Simon Peat, David Johnson and Pat Murray. The practice is based in Ellerslie, Auckland, New Zealand.
Simon Peat and David Johnson set up their own practice in March 2004 having worked previously in chartered accounting firms. They have both worked in the New Zealand banking industry which is a benefit to clients. Pat Murray was a partner in the firm Parker Murray & Co for over 20 years and decided to amalgamate his practice with Simon and David.
We are a business advisory firm offering a full range of accounting services providing businesses with the necessary tools to help grow their business.

Simon Peat Simon started his accounting career as an auditor at KPMG in Auckland. Simon travelled to London on his OE gaining valuable offshore accounting experience. Simon returned to New Zealand to become a business bank manager with the National Bank. Simon's last role before setting up Peat Johnson Limited at Burns McCurrach chartered accountants. |

David Johnson David started his career in a small accounting practice in Whangarei then moved to Auckland and worked as a company accountant. David also worked as a financial controller in London before returning to Auckland. In total David has had 15 years in chartered accounting and company accounting roles. Most recently David was a senior associate at BKR Walker Wayland chartered accountants, a five-partner firm in the CBD. David specialises in the property, advertising and transport industries. David also specialises in the buying and selling of businesses. |

Pat Murray Prior to joining this firm Pat was in practice for 22 years in Newmarket with Parker Murray & Co Pat is hugely experienced with a large base of very successful clients. Prior to going into practice Pat worked overseas in large multi national companies in England and Holland. Pat has also worked in the commercial sector in New Zealand. We have found Pat's experience extremely valuable. |
